We Are Visual Animals is a new kind of blog, featuring emerging visual creatives.
We Are Visual Animals is a blog dedicated to showcasing emerging visual creatives. The site was designed by interactive developer Charlie Clark, who also curates the artists that post on We Are Visual Animals. Clark has designed several innovative sites and projects throughout the web, and We Are Visuals is one of his best. Each post on We Are Visual Animals features a short description of a particular designer written by Clark, and then it features that artist’s work. Most of the time, as in the case of Lucas Benarroch / MRKA, there’s an accompanying interview along with the work hosted in the article. These interviews are fairly open-ended, but offer great background into the designer’s intentions.
All those interested in digital design should definitely bookmark We Are Visual Animals, as it offers great content as well as insights into the creation of various projects and items. Scrolling through the site is like scrolling through one of Charlie Clark’s greatest creations, and the words and pictures of other designers enhance the experience. There is insider information about how certain projects were created, and each designer’s approach to his or her work is intelligently showcased on the site. Clark has hosted photographers, clothing designers, web developers and everything in between on the site — the only requirement is that the individuals be visually creative. We Are Visual Animals is a great spot to browse the work of extremely talented up and coming visual artists.
