Like Snapchat, with some Major Differences
Taptalk is an app that allows users to send personal photos and videos directly to each other. The app is incredibly similar to Snapchat, although there are a few key differences that set it apart. The main difference is that every photo or video that you receive is uniquely made for you (whereas Snapchat offers the ability to send the same content to multiple users on your contact list or to make them publicly available via its “stories” feature). Like Snapchat, however, Taptalk allows users to add captions to photos and videos and deletes those photos and videos immediately after they’ve been seen. Although it’s typically unfair to compare apps that offer a slightly similar service, the messaging capabilities of Taptalk and Snapchat are so similar that the comparison is justified. I’m still not convinced which is better, although Snapchat definitely succeeds due to its much more massive user base.
Personalized, Nearly Instant Messaging
Another major difference between Snapchat and Taptalk is the way photos are actually sent through the latter service. Profile pictures of each user on your Taptalk contact list are displayed beneath the camera viewfinder that automatically displays when you open the app.
