Orangette – Delicious Food. Exquisite Writing.

Orangette – I just love it when a cooking blog is able to not only produce refreshing and inspiring recipes on a regular basis, but to keep doing it for years. The Web is full of cooking blogs, some of which are in my personal RSS list, but only a few are able to keep their top-notch content year in, year out. Ornagette is one of those selected few, and it scored lots of visits while it was featured as a Weekly Blog.

Written by the lovely Molly Wizenberg who has also published the fantastic book, A Homemade Life: Stories and Recipes from My Kitchen Table (Simon & Schuster, 2009, available at Amazon), Orangette’s first post was published back in 2004. The blog is packed with my favorite cooking blog must-have elements: beautifully written content, mouth-watering recipes, and stunning photos (taken by Molly herself!). See the pics below and click them to get to their respective posts: Whole Wheat Sablés with Cacao Nibs and Plum Crumble, respectively.

  • The food in the pictures that you have up above look great. I will have to give orangette a look. Are the recipes shared there generally ones that are somewhat easy to prepare? I love to cook, but often find myself challenged for time.

    • Thanks for your interest in Orangette. I encourage you to stop by this lovely blog and browse the recipes for yourself. The vast majority of these is simple to make, and Molly does a great job at explaining the process from start to finish. Enjoy!

  • Thanks for any other informative website. The place else may I am getting that type of information written in such an ideal way? I have a mission that I'm just now working on, and I have been on the glance out for such information.

  • Its like you read my mind! You appear to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a little bit, but other than that, this is great blog. An excellent read. I'll definitely be back.

  • After i started to go through beginning of post i did not believe that it might be advantageous information for me although right now I am genuinely greatful that I found such place to browse. Regards to the journalist.
