Colorbay is a one-stop app to discover and view photos, making it fun to view photos across Instagram, Pixter, Flickr and 500px.
Colorbay is a one-stop app that allows you to view photos across all platforms. The app works with Instagram, Pixter, Flickr, 500px and App.net to combine all photos you could possibly be viewing across photo-sharing platforms and organizes them in one place. Colorbay displays the content in a visually-appealing, modern manner, making it easy to scroll through photos that have been pulled from various sites. You can also seamlessly view comments and post on photos — it’ll appear as if you’re actually commenting from a specific app. The photos are all displayed on your app’s timeline in a gridded fashion, making it easier to see the whole picture. If you want to see more details — comments, likes, etc. — you can simply tap on a photograph and more info will appear.
In addition to pulling all of your photographs to one centralized location, Colorbay also has an effective search method. You can search tags, photos and users across all platforms, making it much easier to find exactly what you’re looking for. If you only use a few photo services or don’t want certain accounts integrated, it’s also incredibly easy to link or unlink your profiles from those social media sites. In fact, the entire Colorbay experience is smooth, well-designed, and generally easier to use than the original photograph apps themselves. It’s great that there are so many apps for photography enthusiasts, but it’s even better that there’s an app like Colorbay that brings them all together.
