Adam and Luna: Tell The Story Of Your Life

Adam and Luna is an app that turns your phone’s photos into the story of your life.

Tell your story.

Now that carrying around a smartphone is commonplace, so is snapping photos. It’s no longer difficult to quickly capture a moment — a game, a concert, a friend, whatever — and instantly share that moment with the world. The only problem that accompanies the ease of taking photos is that some people a mass such a large library of .jpegs that they’ll never look at any of them again. That’s a shame, because each photo is one scene in the story of an individual (or a family, or a group, or any larger entity)’s life. Adam and Luna makes it simple to string together the narrative that the pictures on your smart phone tell by allowing you to record your own voice (or any other type of audio) over each of the pictures.

“Story = Photo + Sound.”

Adam and Luna defines a story as “Photo + Sound.” This is a simple definition, sure, but it’s hard to argue with. The app uses this definition to allow you to create a truly compelling story. How do I know it’s compelling? Because it’s about you, of course. The app allows you to record up to 3 seconds of audio over a single photo from your library. You repeat the process for up to five of your photos, which are then strung together to make a 15-second or less mini-movie starring your own pictures. The app then makes it easy to share the stories that you’ve created, and view stories created by other users. You don’t have to talk about your own life, of course. You can make stories by snapping pictures of other things and recording any type of audio that you please. Adam and Luna simply wants you to start telling a story — of any kind — and to share it with the rest of the storytellers around the world.
