Odd Future’s Crew
It all began last month with a series of tweets from Tyler the creator that hinted that Odd Future have gone their separate ways. However, the crew compounded by artists like Frank Ocean, Earl Sweatshirt, Hodgy Beats and Domo Genesis remain tight, and future collaborations are not excluded as everyone is focusing on their solo careers. Don’t be sad about the end of Odd Future. As Tyler said, “Being sad is not tight. I just wish people would understand that being-sad shit is not cool. It’s negative and it sucks.” It’s over, right. But let’s see who was inside OF group and what they are up to.
Tyler The Creator
Tyler is one of the founders of Odd Future, and through this tweet he informed the world and his fans of the end of it. Everything is all right for Tyler, he has just released is new album Cherry Bomb. The album also featured guest appearances from Kanye West and Lil Wayne. In addition to the music, Tyler has launched an app called “Gold Media” that promises “Tyler and his brain without restrictions and bullshit”.
Earl Sweatshirt
Earl Sweatshirt is an American rapper-producer and member of the Los Angeles-based hip hop collective Odd Future. He is signed to Columbia Records, as well as his own label, Tan Cressida. Earl gained recognition and critical praise for his debut mixtape, Earl.
He released his new album in March 2015 : I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside
Frank Ocean
Frank Ocean is an American singer, songwriter and rapper. Ocean started his career as a ghostwriter for artists such as Damienn Jones, John Legend, Justin Bieber, and Brandy. He became a member of Odd Future in 2010. He released is first solo album, Channel Orange, in 2012. 3 years later he has announced his second album for July 2015. The album is called Boys Don’t Cry.
Domo Genesis
Domonique Cole, better known by his stage name Domo Genesis, is an American rapper from Los Angeles who is currently signed to Odd Future Records. He launched a mixtape called Under the Influence 2 in 2014. He was also part of a sub-group of Odd Future, with Hodgy Beats and Left Brain, called Mellow High. Check out one of their clips:
Hodgy Beats
Hodgy Beats was an original member of OFWGKTA and was the first member of Odd Future to release a solo record — 2009’s The Dena Tape. He is involved in two of Odd Future’s sub-groups: MellowHigh and MellowHype. Depsite the end of Odd Future, most of the members are still working. That’s the case of Hodgy Beats, who released 3 new tracks.
Left Brain
Left brain is a rapper, record producer and photographer. He is one of the main producers of the Odd Future’s crew. He is part of two Odd Future sub-groups: MellowHigh, as mentioned earlier, and MellowHype with Hodgy Beats.

Syd Tha Kyd
Sydney Bennett, known by her stage names Syd Tha Kyd or Syd, is a singer, producer and DJ from Crenshaw, Los Angeles, California. She is one of the main producers in Odd Future and a singer, producer and mixer in the neo-soul group The Internet with Matt Martians and Tay Walker.
Tay Walker
Tay seems to have embarked on a solo career, and he released his album 25 Hours A Day a few weeks ago.
Matt Martians
Matthew Martin, better known by his stage name Matt Martians, is a producer & illustrator from East Point, Georgia. He is a former member of Odd Future. He is also member of two Odd Future’s sub-groups The Internet and The Jet of Tomorrow.
Pyramid Vritra
In addition to his collaboration as a member of The Jet of Tomorrow, he has launched a new album this year called Dānu.
Mike G
Mike G is an American rapper and DJ. He had already been a fan of Odd Future for a while before he was asked by Tyler, The Creator to join the group sometime in 2009. The next year Mike released his debut studio album with Odd Future, Ali. Check out the sequel to his 2011 Award Tour EP. It’s called Award Tour II.
Jasper Dolphin
Davon Wilson, better known as Jasper Dolphin, is a non-musical member of the collective OFWGKTA. Jasper is mostly an actor, and he appears in the show Loiter Squad.

L-Boy is featured on Odd Future’s show Loiter Squad along with Japser Dolphin, Earl Sweatshirt, Taco and Tyler.
Na’Kel Smith
Na’Kel Smith is an American skateboarder and non-musical member of Odd Future. Na’Kel has been featured on Tyler’s song “Trash Wang” along with other non-musical members of Odd Future.
Taco Bennett
Travis ‘Taco’ Bennett is a non-musical member of the group OFWGKTA. His sister is Syd Tha Kyd. Taco doesn’t rap as much as other members of Odd Future, but he does rap in Tyler’s song “Bitch Sucks Dick.” He can also be heard in the beginning of Odd Future’s song “Oldies,” giving shouts out to members of the Odd Future Crew.
Christian Clancy
Christian Clancy, usually just called Clancy, is Tyler, The Creator’s manager. Clancy often won’t show his face, but he speaks for Tyler in some interviews.
Lucas Vercitti
Lucas Vercetti is the white guy in Odd Future, and the manager of their store in Los Angeles.
Young Nigga
Young Nigga is Tyler, the Creator’s alter-ego and a rapper featured on Odd Future’s show, Loiter Squad.
