A Social Platform for the EDM World
Iam.DJ is a social platform that allows EDM fans to stay in touch and in tune with their favorite DJs from around the world by pulling information from the DJs various social networking sites and displaying them in one convenient location. For a user’s account, the site also integrates with Twitter and Facebook, so that saves a step in adding yet another social network into your daily routine. Once you’re logged into iam.dj, however, you can begin searching through your favorite DJs. You can give your favorite musicians “Respect” by clicking a button beneath their profile, which is the equivalent of a Like on Facebook or a Follow on Twitter. Also similar to Twitter, the left side of the Iam.DJ screen features a section called “#Real Time Hype.” That section is equivalent to the trending topics of Twitter, although every hashtag is EDM or DJ related (the current top hashtags include the event-specific #edcny and the more general #housemusic).
Never Miss an Update from Your Favorite DJs

In the future, there will also be the ability to search through the upcoming events of particular DJs. The platform is currently in beta mode, but it plans to be available on the web, iOS and Android soon. That multi-platform approach will definitely beneficial for the site, which could allow fans to receive nearly constant updates from their favorite DJs – whether it be status updates, photographs or new music. All of this information is collected from a DJs many social platforms (Soundcloud, Beatport, Twitter, etc.), and displayed in one profile.
