Beatwave is an app that lets users make awesome music on their devices simply by tapping.
We now live in a world where people with absolutely no musical skills or experience can create fun, catchy songs and albums… all on their iPhone. The new, revamped app Beatwave lets you create and share music easier than ever before. You can create dreamy, trance-like tunes in a matter of minutes, with a wide array of sounds and styles to choose from. This app is highly entertaining, and it’s always interesting to see how a random jumble of notes can become a catchy song after some tweaking.
User-Friendly InterfaceMusic-making apps can often be intimidating and complicated for beginners. The re-released version of Beatwave is exceptionally user-friendly, and features some very useful tutorials within the app. The main screen shows a 16×16 grid of tiny squares, which all represent a different sound or beat. A bar moving from left to right across the screen plays the note when it hits the square that you’ve tapped. You can play with the tempo, style, and octave, and you can add up to four instruments playing at once. If you love your song, you can save it, add it to your album, and impress your friends and family by posting it online!
