Raising a child with special needs presents a unique set of challenges. Trusting and relying on caretakers and therapy providers is only one of those challenges. Love My Provider has set out to make the process of choosing a provider a little easier. For each of the companies listed on the website you searchers are given a brief overview, contact information, and reviews. The companies are searchable by name or type of provider and will show what insurances, regional centers, and/or school districts they work with.
The website is free and searchable by the public but in order to see contact information or reviews, you must enter your email address and choose a password. Love My Provider is a great, easy-to-use website that provides a great service to the special needs community. The only downside to the website is that it is currently only serving the Los Angeles area. It is only 3 years old, so hopefully the service will extend its area, or else others will see its usefulness and start similar websites in other cities.
