Gaia is a media site featuring “conscious” content.
Get In Touch With Mother Earth
The word “Gaia” refers to the Greek god of Earth. It’s often used amongst yoga practitioners, as well as by environmentalists and all those in touch with the world surrounding them. Gaia, then, is a fitting name for a company dedicated to what it describes as “conscious media.” Gaia contains films, documentaries, shorts, and articles on conscious topics such as life, metaphysics, the mind-body-spirit connection, and more. There’s also a section of the site dedicated to yoga, which offers tips and guidance for people of all experience levels. If you’re interested in leading a more conscious lifestyle or already ingrained in that culture, there’s much to explore on Gaia.
Yoga Tips & Guidance
Much of Gaia’s content is free to explore, but the company does charge for unlimited access to their media library. The plans start at $20 for three months or $95.40 for an entire year. If you sign up for a plan, you get access to Gaia on all platforms. Gaia is currently available on Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, and the web. It’s almost like paying for a separate cable television network subscription, a la Netflix or HBO Now. It’s a seemingly hefty price to pay, but if you’re into yoga and/or the conscious lifestyle, Gaia could be well worth the cost.
