This is the one time of year where we can all dress up in our favorite costume, scream and shout a little at our favorite movies, and eat buckets of candy because we can! This year don’t be the one to sit around and wait to be invited to someone else’s party, throw the spookiest bash with the help of our Halloween party ideas.
When throwing a party at your house, decorations make all the difference. These easy and creative decoration ideas will transform your house into the ultimate party destination. Start with the exterior by decorating the windows, front porch, lawn and the trees. Add some glowing eyes to a dark corner of the house, or stick them in the bushes and trees. 
By just adding some glow sticks to toilet paper rolls, someone’s eyes are always watching. Windows also need some scare to them. Decals are easy to stick on and take down, but if you are a little more crafty use black poster board or paint cardboard black and create your favorite or spookiest shapes, just use a little invisible tape to keep your haunted guests upright. Ghost are also a necessity on Halloween. With the help of white cloth and some art supplies, ghosts can add some scare anywhere. 
What’s Halloween without some bones? Plastic bones can be bought anywhere that sells Halloween decorations, and all you need to do is lay them out! How much easier can that be? Next is the inside, where all the fun takes place. Bloody handprints can stick to most smooth surfaces and this is something kids will love, glue and red food dye is all you need for this small touch of scare. 
To go along with bloody hand prints, try some blood stained table clothes or runners. Add some red paint to the cloth of the runner in a messy fashion and there you have it. Try adding some red handprints to other serving dishes, or the bloody cloth for more an effect. If you’re really looking for a project, try adding an aged effect to some re-printed family portraits and draping them in cob webs you can buy at the store. You can also stick some orange lights in the eyes for a scary sight. Last, if you are good at photo shop, or have a friend that is, heads in jars are always fun to make someone jump.
What’s a party without some food? These delicious and scary simple recipes are sure to fill even the hungriest of your house guests. Hot dogs can be turned into mummy dogs for with a little help of some dough and seeds, just add your favorite condiment for dipping. 
Mummy dogs can also be made vegetarian by using veggie dogs. Your guests will think they’re eating brains by making orange peppers look like little jack-o-lanterns and over stuffing them with spaghetti! It’s a fun idea, and it may even get your kids to eat their veggies. If cooking doesn’t scare you out of the kitchen, cook some ribs and form them into the shape of lungs. 
Add half a red pepper in the middle to take the place of the heart and your guests will think they’re eating the lungs from the guys’ bones who are laying out front. Seeing as dessert is always a favorite among most crowds, these recipes are sure to satisfy your friends’ sweet tooth. Make some worms with just jell-o and and bendy straws. 
These worms look so real, guest may think they are actually eating worms! Dirt cups are a Halloween classic for kids and adults. Who doesn’t love pudding, cookie crumbles and gummy worms? Decorating your favorite flavor of cupcake is a fun activity for kids to help with, or keep this as an activity to have at your party. 
Giving your cupcakes a mummy face is an easy decoration to do before hand, or save yourself some time and let the guests create the scariest and most delicious cupcakes they can. With all this scary food you’re preparing, guest will need some drinks to wash it down with. This fizz drink is sure to satisfy. 
This drink can also be made with alcohol if your guests are of age. For a more kid friendly drink, three different types of drinks can be poured to look like candy corn. Add an extra touch when serving food by serving them on Halloween themed dishes (which ban be-reused every year) or add some fun Halloween decor to the tops of dishes (plastic spiders, fake eyeballs and fingers). Serving dishes can also be made out of pumpkins. Cut the top of a larger pumpkin off and scoop out the inside and then just find a somewhat smaller bowl to place on the inside and you’re ready to eat!
