Create Cool Cards, at a Low Cost
When you have to buy a card for someone, there’s nothing quite as daunting as that dreaded card aisle. The cards are either over-cheesy, generic, and sometimes flat-out boring. Open Me is revolutionizing the card store industry by introducing their creative service to the scene.
The Next Generation of Cards
Being the very busy intern that I am, I forgot my parent’s anniversary. This created the perfect opportunity to create my own card with Open Me, and perhaps get back in their good graces. They didn’t have many options to choose from for this type of occasion, but they’re in the very early stages of their service, not to mention any card can be customized. So I found an image I liked in another category, and modified the card to work for an anniversary. I love the artwork options because it’s like nothing else out there in the card industry. No stranger to crowd-sourcing, Open Me plans on using a similar model to Threadless, so new art will be available once they get the ball rolling. I’ll be checking back soon to see their new additions, and hopefully never forget a special occasion again (sorry mom and dad).
