CATLEIDOSCOPE is a psychedelic visual tribute for the famous cats of the internet. Warning: side effects like fuzziness and dizziness are to be expected!
CATLEIDOSCOPE is a kaleidoscope-like themed online tribute to cats that have gone viral over the web. The definition of psychedelics is ‘A visual stimulation in the form of intense colors and moving patterns.’ and believe me, it doesn’t get more psychedelic then this. The site basically takes famous cats images, multiply them, arranges them in a geometrical pattern and then lets your mouse control its movement. I’ve never had my hand in narcotics, but I’m pretty sure that the result is similar to its affects…
This awesome site was created by Matthew Guy, an avant garde Art Director who defines himself as a conceptual creative, who’s not afraid to dabble with code and truly values storytelling and the emerging platforms in which to tell them. Long story short; he tries to make disruptive things people want to watch and play with. I’m sure you’ll love his site as much as I have, only make sure you sit down before you enter this site, otherwise you may fall!
