Cube Slam is a new Chrome Experiment that resembles an updated version of Pong where you can challenge a friend for a retro online match.
When playing Cube Slam against a friend the video chat is enabled. It’s as if your opponent were actually on the other side of the ping pong table because it is not a stagnant image. You can see your opponent through a live feed. This feature certainly adds a more personal touch. If you don’t have any friends to challenge, Bob the Bear is there to step up and take the place of another opponent. Don’t fret!
It’s as simple as using the left and the right arrow keys to move. There’s no added component you have to download in order to play. Cube Slam is playable directly from the web browser and was created using WebRTC a technology which allows individuals to video chat with friends directly from the web browser. All you need for the game is an internet connection, the Chrome browser, webcam, and a friend.
