Details is a men’s lifestyle magazine whose online component contains many exciting additional features.
Details is a men’s lifestyle magazine that was founded in 1982. It’s still published monthly by Condé Nast, but like the majority of traditional print publications it has received a resurgence with its online platform. The Details site makes the magazine’s recognized and respected writing and makes it available for free to readers around the world. The site is separated into the following categories: Culture & Trends, Style & Advice, Celebrities & Entertainment, Health & Fitness, Video, Magazine and Promos & Events. The Magazine category offers a digital version of the print publication, although you’ll have to subscribe in order to access features aside from the cover articles (all of which are posted for free on the digital publication as well). The Promos & Events section is also an unusual yet exciting feature for a digital magazine, as it showcases the Details-sponsored events that take place throughout the country and world as well as events sponsored by other companies and brands.
In addition to the articles posted by Details, the site also has a section called “Details Network,” which features contributions from other sites around the web that Details has identified as fitting with their own editorial standards. The posts are updated daily and come from a variety of contributors. If you have a blog that aligns with the editorial style espoused by Details, you can also submit your own writing in an attempt to become a regular contributor. This section of the site is useful for discovering articles and product information that doesn’t fall directly within the Details publication, but is still worth checking out. Of course, Details’ own editorial content is also worth browsing, and there are tons of interesting articles that are regularly added to the site. If you were ever a fan of the magazine, or if you’re simply a fan of the many topics which the publication covers, then bookmarking Details site is definitely worth doing.
