Gibbon is a peer-to-peer learning network that connects users that want to teach each other and learn about anything.
Teach and Learn Anything.
The learning flows offered on Gibbon vary from “Becoming a better photographer” to “Learning CSS3.” Some of the information taught on Gibbon is more abstract, such as “Art Fraud, Art Forgery & Art Crime.” The site succeeds in that it doesn’t expect its students to become programming geniuses within a couple of weeks or to understand world history after reading a couple of books, but it allows for users to learn little bits about everything at their own convenience. Any Gibbon user can also set up his or her own learning flow in order to teach other users a skill or a topic. The content on the site is heavily skewed towards programming tips, startup advice and other coding classes, but there is also other cool stuff such as a “3D Printing” learning flow that offers awesome, unique content in an organized location. If you’re interested in always learning more about everything, Gibbon is the site for you.
