Office Snapshots is a comprehensive office design resource that displays and discusses the latest designs and trends in office design.
Office Snapshots was founded by one man, Stephen Searer, a former history teacher who started this site in 2007 as a side project. Nowadays he works on it full time and the small blog became quite an awesome site for interior design lovers, especially those who loves office and working space architecture. The site is a combination of two kind of offices: those Stephen had actually been to, took the pictures himself, interviewed it’s workers and designers and wrote a thorough blog about it and those who were submitted by people from the offices which usually contain only the designing details.
I Know where you Work!Though Office Snapshots started as a niche blog, it’s popularity gave it access to some of the biggest brands out there and by that it gave us an opportunity to have a sneak pick into their offices. On most offices it feels like things are moving in the direction of open plan offices. Office designers seems to be moving past the simple “lots of desks in a room” approach and offering a variety of spaces for different work needs. Now you have a chance to see what it’s like to work at Google, AOL and lots of other huge brands, that Stephen visited and reviewed.
