AllPaws: Pet Adoption Made Easy

AllPaws allows you to search 1,000s of animals by location and breed for pet rescue and pet adoptions.

Simplify the Process of Pet Adoption.

AllPaws hopes to simplify the pet adoption process. The site essentially works as a pet search engine, allowing prospective animal owners to search by type, breed and location. The pet types offered on AllPaws include dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, birds, “small & furry” animals, “barn yard” animals, pigs and reptiles. There are tons of options to filter by breed once you select a certain animal. After you conduct a search on the site, AllPaws displays a list of pet profiles for you to browse. Each pet profile contains a picture, description of age, gender, price, and everything else you need to know about your potential pet. Once you’ve found an animal that you’re interested in, AllPaws makes it easy to connect with the organization putting the animal up for adoption. Communication works similar to an online dating service, with a well-integrated messaging service that streamlines questions and answers between both parties.

A Large Variety of Pets and Animals.

The availability of potential pets on AllPaws is high, as the site adds over 2,500 new pet profiles each day. The number is constantly growing, but AllPaws estimates over 10,000 animals are available through its service. Most of the animals have a lengthy description about their personalities and habits, and there is typically a video included so you can see the animal outside of photographs. AllPaws also several quirky features such as the ability to create a meme involving the animal or share its information on social media platforms such as Facebook or through email. Purchasing a pet can be a difficult process, and AllPaws takes away the difficulty of having to travel to various shelters in order to view the animals in person. Of course, you’ll want to meet your pet before you make a decision to adopt, but AllPaws definitely makes it easier to get the process started.

  • I am looking for a male Siamese kitten to join our family. I'm single woman who 13yr companion died peacefully in my arms after knowing his passing was coming after two months. I've adopted a two year little girl but feel the added playmate will bring us happiness.
