TechCrunchTV – TechCrunch needs no introduction. If you’re not familiar with it, that’s a big no-no because they’re only one of the most prominent tech news providers out there. What’s new about TechCrunch however, is their latest addition, the TechCrunchTV site. Watch live news videos or check their huge data base of previous news coverage, interviews with important figures in the tech, Internet and communications industry, and other Silicone Valley movers and shakers. Even if you’re not involved in the technology field, visiting TechCrunchTV every now and then will be rewarding and interesting. See the video below, an interview with JibJab’s Co-founder Greg Spiridellis which I found insightful.
The Hero – Use your picture or that of someone you know, or use your webcam to become the star of this original and funny movie. Staged like an actual news story, the picture you picked will be presented in various instances throughout the movie. This is a great deal of fun, and it was especially hilarious this time around for me, because I used the photo of my personal hero from this favorite cartoon show. See the screen shot below to guess just who it is… If you haven’t figured it out by now, the whole point of this customized film is to stress the importance of a certain social issue. It’s certainly an original way of making a point.
So you have a webcam. Big deal. Sure, it’s a nice gadget to have, and it probably plays a major role in your online communication activities. But is that all destiny has chosen for this small Peeping Tom device? No sirree. In this lineup of 15 websites I’ll show you how webcam utilization is taken to the extreme to create surprising, innovative and fun experiences you never thought were possible.

Viral Video Chart – Know how when you watch a great video online it immediately becomes obvious that you’ll send it to all your friends and family members right away? Viral Video Chart allows you to stay on top with the hottest videos currently buzzing online.
In addition to watching videos, you can find interesting statistical information about them. See when the video first became ‘hot’, how many mentions it got on the blogosphere and many more fascinating data. I can only hope YouTube will add a similar feature to their web site as well, because more often than not, I find the latter’s video recommendations irrelevant.
“Why are you really here?”
“I want to make this land safe!”
“Why are you here, soldier?!”
“I’m here because I’m bored.”
“And don’t you ever forget that.”
Updates are slow in the last few weeks. That’s because we are working hard on a great kids section for AllMyFaves. We call it The Amusement Park of the Web. Hopefully the new section will be up early next week. Make sure to come back with your kids or just with your joyful spirit and check it out.
In the meanwhile enjoy this week selection of the Weekly Video Faves. I am sure you will love them. (If you don’t, drop me a line suggesting some good vids).

What We Are
The HBO Voyeur Project is a collection of multi-media stories that HBO has built around the theme of voyeurism.
See what people do when they think no one is Watching is the tagline that they have used to describe the experience that starts in the streets of New York City, behind the countless windows that we pass everyday. It comes together in a silent film that will be projected on the side of a building, and extends to the HBO channel, HBO on Demand, and online at HBOVoyeur.com.
There are also “artifacts†of the characters everywhere, pieces of story which have been sprinkled around the web and in the real world to heighten the experience for those who like to get involved.
However it is experienced in whichever medium, the point of the HBO Voyeur Project is to get the viewer to confront the uncomfortable question: “Do You Like To Watch?â€
