Simple Design, Helpful Advice
Daily Zen List is a site dedicated to “simplicity and self-improvement.” In terms of design, the site is as simplistic as it could possibly be. The background is white, the text is black, and there’s only one post on the homepage, updated daily. Also true to the site’s name, each post is delivered in the form of a list.
A Zen-Like Alternative to the Cluttered Web
For those that want more than just one list a day, older posts are archived on Daily Zen List. The main way to navigate the site is by clicking “previous” or “next,” but you can also browse the archives by day or month. There’s tons of great content to be found on the site. It’s often funny and enjoyable, but always inspiring. The simplicity of the entire endeavor is perhaps what’s most inspiring about Daily Zen List, as .gifs, ads and images do not clutter up space in your browser. The site truly allows you to find a clutter-free zen while reading a short post on how your life could be improved for the better.
