All The Buildings In New York is an ambitious attempt of a gifted illustrator to immortalize the buildings in the big apple by drawing and sketching them all – literally.

Find your Favorite New York Building – Hand Drawn

All The Buildings In New York is a personal project of James Gulliver Hancock, an illustrator originally from Australia currently based in Brooklyn, New York. On this ambitious project Hancock attempts to draw all the buildings in New York, he is doing it in his own cartoon/sketching way that projects his love for the city. Each drawing, as minimal as it is, shows tiny details that seems to bring the building to life and emphasis the Big Apple’s vitality.

True Passion for New York!

This project stems from an interest in obsession and recording of places. New York holds a special place in everyone’s heart, romanticized from Seasame Street and old movies like Rear Window and Breakfast at Tiffany’s. This blog records an attempt to make the city personal by passing a pen over every structure, hopefully making up for the time not spent in New York. So if you miss New York and want to revisit it via beautiful drawings of its buildings, or just want to see your favorite building illustrated by a true New York lover, you’re in for a treat.
