Heyday is an app that automatically tracks your day turns your photos into a beautiful digital journal.
Long gone are the days when people would use a pen and paper to document their day. Maybe it’s too much work, or our lives are simply too hectic to make time for it. But wouldn’t it be great to have a journal about your own life to look back on…that doesn’t require you to write it yourself? Heyday does exactly that. The app takes location data and photos from your phone and transforms them into a journal entry so that you can look back at past vacations, big events, or just a regular day. 
Heyday helps you take a trip down memory lane by allowing you to search for memories by place or a certain time in your life.
Heyday isn’t an entirely new idea because it’s similar to existing apps, like Memoir. But perhaps one difference that will draw you to it is that the layout is more appealing and customizable. The app creates collages that you can alter and edit to your liking. You can also add photos from other sites that you use, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. This is the new age of journaling your life without even thinking about it. It doesn’t entirely replace pen and paper journaling since you don’t add text, but for the minimalists (and lazy), this is the perfect alternative.
