Vulture is a website devoted to delivering the most thorough coverage of anything entertainment related. No matter what you’re obsessed with, Vulture has you covered from interviews, to critical articles, and up to the minute news.
Some people call it a waste of time, I call it a hobby. Following entertainment coverage doesn’t have to be trashy or shallow, and Vulture seeks to prove just that. A bit more high brow than most entertainment sites, Vulture is a virtual meeting place for pop-culture fanatics. The site is more tasteful than say, TMZ for example, because it’s a New York Magazine blog, which is a well-respected publication. 
Like most entertainment blogs, they have show recaps but they include a more interesting spin to the post by adding what the author loved about the episode and what they thought it lacked. It adds an intellectual element to something most people consider shallow. It becomes more of a critique, rather than just a recap. They also keep up this intellectual approach throughout when writing about movies, books, and celebrities in general. Personal favorites included remembering couples of 1998, and counting the number of times Peeta messed up in Catching fire (spoiler alert: he messed up. A lot). Now you don’t have to hide your screen when reading up on the latest entertainment news.
Helping you Discover what’s Great & NewVulture‘s editorial team isn’t just there to review shows, movie, and books. They have genuinely interesting articles that help you uncover different things in entertainment, new or old. For example, they have an entire category of lists that include 10 great full-length concerts on YouTube, or a ranking of all 64 of Stephen King’s books. In their Star Market category, they profile and analyze the careers of celebrities in crazy detail, and even say what they would do if they were in charge of their careers. It’s definitely falls in “guilty pleasure” territory, but they still manage to keep it classy. So go ahead and indulge in entertainment news, without feeling sleazy about it afterwards.
