True&Co is your new bra concierge. After filling out a quick quiz, they recommend bras that they believe will fit your body type. You can then try them on in the comfort of your own home, and return the ones that don’t fit.
It’s no secret that bra shopping isn’t a fun experience for women. Buying a shirt, for example, means trying on one or two sizes and one will probably fit. Bra shopping, on the other hand, requires trying on countless models in a few sizes each, just to find (maybe) one that fits properly. Not to mention the awkward factor of having a stranger measuring and poking you. True&Co is reinventing the bra shopping experience but making it a more comfortable and painless experience. By filling out their questionnaire, True&Co is able to recommend styles that will fit you best. You choose up to 5 styles to be sent to your home to try on, and return the ones that don’t work for you–all without going into a store’s changing room, which for some reason are usually kept at arctic temperatures. Where do I sign up?
I once read somewhere that 80% of women are wearing the wrong bra size. Maybe that’s because 80% of women don’t feel like spending two hours trying on 25 bras in different sizes and styles. True&Co says they’ve done all the work for you, and in just 5 options, at least a few should fit. The only way to truly gauge whether this service is valuable is to order from them, but I can tell there’s definitely some value here because one of their recommendations for me is a bra I already own. I trust their other suggestions because of this; too bad they only offer their service in the U.S. (girls in Canada need bras too!) Until they branch out to more countries, I can take note of their recommendations and venture into the harsh, scary world of bra shopping.
