GettyCritics is a a collection of stock photography from professional agencies, picked apart for its inherent flaws. Upon closer examination, every image has a few hilarious flaws.
GettyCritics provides a simple service, quick laughs at the expense of advertising agencies. Popular agencies such as GettyImages provide companies with photographs for almost every situation. Whether you need a group shot of friends on a beach or a man stressed over his bills, Getty Images has that stock photograph and GettyCritics is here to pin point their fails…
What’s great about this site is the attention the authors draw to at first, mundane details that then become impossible to ignore. Started by two art directors out of Vancouver who were fed up with how much stock photography they had to sort through, they decided to take a quiet revenge and start honestly (harshly and sometimes comedically) critiquing them. The end result is GettyCritics, a great place for an honest, judgmental laugh.
Try not to laugh too loudly. Every stock photo has a flaw, GettyCritics is there to point them out. In short, you’ll never look at photos the same… They review seemingly innocent photos and expose flaws that will make you lol, literally.
