It’s pretty much a travel magazine, packed full of guides to some of the World’s most interesting and inspiring destinations, on which you can then make bookings directly if you’re feeling adventurous. Simply pick a country on their map or drop down list that you’re interested in visiting, and you’ll get an easy-to-navigate page filled with tips on the best places to go, gorgeous boutique hotels to stay in (organized by price if you’re penny conscious). And if you have absolutely no idea where you’d like to go to, there’s a sweet “Inspire Me” button that will take you somewhere awesome the editor picked out, based on whether you like the beach, cheap ‘n’ chic city breaks, spa trips and so on.
When it comes to booking your vacation, it’s very naturally built in with the site, easy to use, and generally stress free. And if you don’t believe me, it may help to know that i-escape just won the Guardian’s award for 2011 Best Online Booking Service. Basically you should just check it out, because if nothing else, it’s just having a browse around the site, with all it’s glossy travel pictures, is a getaway in itself!
